About Us: We are a vibrant and active HOA community dedicated to providing top-tier recreational experiences to our members. We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Amenities Membership Manager to oversee our community amenities and deliver exceptional member service.
Job Summary: The Amenities Membership Manager is a part-time position (20-25 hours per week) responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our recreational facilities, including the pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and pro shop. This role manages memberships, supervises staff, and ensures a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for all members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer software systems for amenities membership (Appfolio and Member Splash)
- Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records
- Issue and manage member credentials (keycards, etc.)
- Hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff (pool attendants)
- Create and manage staffing schedules for all amenities
- Ensure compliance with pool health and safety standards (in coordination with Pool Contractor and DES regulations)
- Monitor usage and enforce facility rules and guidelines
- Oversee inventory for pool concession stand and tennis pro shop
- Track and manage budget and payroll for amenities team
- Coordinate with maintenance vendors to ensure facilities are clean, operational, and safe
- Send periodic email updates and event announcements to members
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns
- Assist with organizing and executing pool parties, tournaments, and other community events
- Collaborate with instructors and third-party vendors
- Compile simple reports on usage and membership data
- Support payment collection and record organization when needed
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff
- Comfortable using software tools
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Work Schedule:
Primarily weekdays with occasional weekends and evenings during the peak season (especially for events and tournaments).
