Responsibilities
- Ensure tables are impeccably clean and reset quickly between guests.
- Assist servers by delivering water, bread, and clearing plates as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping and tidying up.
- Restock necessary items such as silverware, napkins, and glasses during service.
- Help keep the restaurant organized by monitoring the bussing stations and front-of-house areas.
- Anticipate guest needs and support the service team in delivering seamless dining experiences.
Qualifications
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the service team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for hospitality.
- Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Capability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment with varying noise levels.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in both indoor and outdoor settings.
