As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring their experience starts and ends on a high note. Pay Rate $17.25 #TowncountrySD

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine smile.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins to keep the flow of the restaurant running smoothly.
• Guide guests to their tables while providing a little ARLO charm along the way.
• Communicate wait times with accuracy and keep guests informed.
• Assist with seating arrangements to maximize comfort and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
• Answer phone calls, provide helpful information, and assist with to-go orders as needed.
• Work closely with the entire front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• A natural people-person who thrives in a guest-facing role.
• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy brunch shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Light lifting (up to 15 lbs) for occasional tasks like moving chairs or menus.
