What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Management Computer Technician position at Town Management?
Our Real Estate Management company is looking to hire a skilled computer technician to handle regular computer maintenance and repair on our property management software and computer system. Our technicians are responsible for monitoring, diagnostics, and ensuring that all our office systems are properly configured for maximum efficiency and uptime.
Your duties will include installing software, diagnosing and repairing common computer problems, monitoring internal networks, and repairing server errors. You will also be responsible for resolving hard disk failures, configuring software and drivers, and performing regular system upgrades and backups. We are also looking for a candidate that can implement and improve current data security systems, as well as manage workstations.
Our ideal candidate should have technical expertise and knowledge of IT infrastructure. It will be your ongoing goal to help improve organizational efficiency and help the office meet key metrics. You will also be asked to pay attention to customer service needs and day-to-day optimization as you plan maintenance and upgrade schedules, along with any proposed changes to our IT infrastructure.
In addition to monitoring, enhancing system efficiency, and improving network security, you will also have the opportunity to introduce new technologies to the organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Include property management software skills (such as Yardi, AppFolio, OneSite, Entrata)
- Maintain office hardware and software with broad range of knowledge of computer hardware and firmware, coding/programming, network security and industry information technology
- Knowledge in accounting software programs (such as SAGE 100)
- Prior knowledge of data storage and data recovery
- Identify and troubleshoot problems
- Resolve network connectivity issues
- Repair motherboards
- Upgrade computer firmware and test and debug programs knowledge
- Install software applications and CRM programs
- Schedule and oversee security updates
