What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time and/or Part-time Custodial/Maintenance Worker position at Town of Aberdeen?
The Town of Aberdeen is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time position of Custodial/Maintenance Worker. This position will perform duties in the cleaning and general housekeeping of assigned buildings including vacuuming, removal of trash, bathroom cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc. Position will also assist in general maintenance duties for facilities as assigned. Position may work 30-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule to fit final candidate’s schedule. Schedule will include weekend work. Will also consider applicants interested in part-time weekend work.
Interested applicants should possess the following requirements:
· Must possess a valid NC Driver’s License
· Must pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen
· Must pass a Background Investigation
· Must pass a Credit Check
· Must have a clean driving history
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00/hour based on experience, with an excellent benefits package including 5% 401-k contribution, Local Government Employees Retirement System membership, paid medical, dental and life insurance, 12 paid holidays paid birthday day off, vacation and sick leave, and annual longevity payment.
