What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Mower/Laborer position at Town of Berwick?
The Town of Berwick is seeking applicants for a seasonal mower/laborer to join the Public Works Department. This position will be responsible for mowing town properties and assisting on other Public Works project when needed. This position involves driving a pickup truck with a trailer and the use of a mower and string trimmer, as well other equipment when necessary. This is a temporary, seasonal position from May 5th to October 2nd.
Hours: 24- 40 hours per week
Pay- $18.00-$21.00 depending on experience
Requirements:
· A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Ability to operate heavy and light equipment including but not limited to a pickup truck and trailer, a lawn mower, string trimmer, other various types of light equipment and hand tools
· Must be able to work independently and efficiently
· Ability to interact professionally with the general public.
