What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patrol Boat Operator (Seasonal) position at Town of Bourne?
The Town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, is hiring seasonal Patrol Boat Operators. This position is responsible for performing all harbor patrol in all Town waters and enforcement of all Waterways Rules and Regulations.
Qualifications and Education
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License Excellent social skills
Ability to operate and maintain small and large boats and related equipment Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent and have Coast Guard, police, law enforcement or maritime experience. Harbormaster Training Council Certification is highly desired.
Full/Part Time & Hours
This is a seasonal position working up to 40 hours per week.
Hourly Rate
$18.00 - $22/hour, depending on experience and training.
