What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pumpout Boat Operator (Seasonal) position at Town of Bourne?
The Town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, is hiring seasonal Pumpout Boat Operators. This position is responsible for performing boat pump out service in all Town waters under the direction of the Department of Natural Resources.
Qualifications and Education
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
Ability to operate and maintain boats and related equipment and skills related to knowledge of marine engines
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent
Full/Part Time & Hours
This is a seasonal position working up to 40 hours per week.
Hourly Rate
$16.00-$18/hour, depending on experience and training.

The initial deadline for this position is Friday, March 21, 2025 and will remain open until filled
