The Town of Bourne, an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, has an opening for a part-time Account Clerk II in the Town Clerk’s Office. Duties include processing and maintaining voter records, issuing certified documents, answering phones and processing census forms in addition to other tasks. Applicants should have office, organizational and planning skills to fulfill job responsibilities. Experience working with the public and solid written and oral communication skills are preferred.
Qualifications and Education
A high school diploma is required and office/municipal experience preferred.
Full/Part Time & Hours
This is a 19 hours per week position. Hours will be Monday – Friday, to be determined by supervisor and very occasionally on evenings and weekends. Additional hours during elections are likely.
Salary
Starting at $22.85 – $23.89/hour
Salary Notes
This is a non-benefited position however vacation and sick time will be accrued at a 19-hr/week rate.
