The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated, highly responsible and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Tennis Guest Services Attendant – Summer Seasonal. Tennis Attendants are responsible for interfacing with guests in order to meet or exceed guest needs with respect to facility, program or service needs. This includes providing information, implementing or carrying out preplanned programs or activities, assisting with program planning, handling cash, enforcing policies or procedures, and generally representing the department in the most quality and service-oriented manner possible.
The individual in this position is responsible for providing excellent guest service; greeting guests; conducting membership, pass and pro-shop sales; light custodial duties; and providing information and explanation of services and programs offered by the Recreation Department. This position performs cash handling duties and conducts transactions with a computerized point of sale system, and also coordinates equipment needs, performs facility checks, and handles facility reservations.

- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- High School diploma required, or must be currently enrolled in High School.
- Must have one (1) or more years of customer service experience.
- Must have one (1) or more years of cash handling experience.
- Must have one (1) or more years computerized point of sale experience.
- To qualify for this position, the candidate must pass a criminal background check.
- Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.
- Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in cash handling preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of customer service experience in the recreation or hospitality industry desired.
- Knowledge and experience with tennis programs and/or facilities preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
Primary shifts for this summer seasonal position vary, but generally include days, nights, weekends, and holidays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with a typical schedule of 40 hours per week.
