What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT/AEMT position at Town of Canaan?
Canaan Fire Rescue is looking to hire a full-time EMT/AEMT to provide emergency medical services and interfacility transfers. The candidate will have their NREMT and NH EMS licenses as EMT/AEMT. We are seeking hard-working passionate individuals. Critical thinking and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions are required.
Minimum Job Requirements
· Required Certifications
o Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a copy of your official driving record.
o Current NREMT- EMT/AEMT Certification
o Current New Hampshire EMT/AEMT license
o Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification
· Physical Job Functions
o Frequently lift, carry, bending, squatting, kneeling, standing and walking
