Description
Under general supervision, performs recreational work in coordinating, supervising and administering athletic programs for the Town Parks and Recreation Department. Is responsible for Administering organized league sports, classes and programs or special events, as assigned. Reports to a Parks Recreation Coordinator or designee.
Minimum Requirements (Must meet by the closing date of the posting unless otherwise stated)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Graduation from an accredited High School or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in governmental, non-profit or voluntary recreation programs.
- Or one (1) year of experience in governmental, non-profit or voluntary recreation programs supplemented by college-level course work in recreational programming or a related field.
- Must possess a valid Class "E" State of Florida driver's license.
Special Requirements
- Employee must be able to work a flexible schedule which will consists of nights and weekends.
- Work hours will vary and can consist of up to three (3) weekday evening shifts and a Saturday and/or Sunday mornings during sports programming, never exceeding twenty-five (25) hours per week.
