What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Leader - Fitness Division position at Town of Davie?
Under general supervision, performs recreational work in coordinating, supervising and administering a variety of recreation programs for the Town Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department. Is responsible for organized league sports, classes and programs or special events, as assigned; provides on-site supervision for program implementation. Reports to a Recreation Coordinator or department designee.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Graduation from an accredited High School or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in recreational programs in either governmental, non-profit or voluntary programs
- Or one (1) year of experience in recreational programs in either governmental, non-profit or voluntary programs supplemented by college-level course work in recreational programming or a related field.
- A valid Class "E" State of Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Employee must be able to work a flexible schedule which will consists of nights and weekends.
Salary : $41,612
