- Trail Development and Maintenance: Oversee the planning, maintenance, and improvement of trails, parks, and open spaces, collaborating with developers, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Community Outreach and Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local residents, environmental groups, and government agencies through effective communication and public outreach.
- Grant Writing and Funding: Secure funding for open space and recreation projects through grants and strategic budget planning.
- Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship: Implement eco-friendly land management practices, including weed control, habitat restoration, and sustainability initiatives.
Your Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Parks & Recreation Administration, Natural Resources Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional Experience: 4 years of experience in open space, trails management, or land conservation, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Key Competencies: Strong background in open space planning, grant writing, budgeting, and project management; ability to build relationships with public agencies, local government, and community groups; proficiency in GIS mapping and data analysis preferred.
