What are the responsibilities and job description for the Municipal Court Clerk position at Town of Earlsboro?
The Town of Earlsboro is hiring for the position of Municipal Court Clerk. Primary duties will be:
* Performing clerical duties in a Court of Law, preparing docket of cases to be called, securing information for judges, contacting witnesses, attorneys, and litigants to obtain information for court. Court is held once monthly and Court Clerk is required to work.
*Must be willing to take and pass a background check and drug screening up job offer.
*Must have at least two (2) years of verifiable experience in office management with knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping.
*Must be bondable.
* Must obtain OMCCA certification within first year of employment. Will need to attend training and maintain CE hours once or twice yearly.
* Must have a valid driver's license and show and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
* Ability to multitask and work independently with good organizational skills.
* Must be physically able to perform essential duties of the position.
* Must be able and willing to work non-regular scheduled hours.
* Must have ready access of reliable transportation and telephone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
