What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Town of Farmington Connecticut?
The Summer Camp Counselor receives oral and written direction from the Summer Camp Director and/or Summer Camp Assistant Director who reviews work in progress. The Summer Camp Counselor facilitates the day-to-day operations of Summer Camp including but not limited to Camp Check-In/Check-Out process, free play, supervision of lunch and assists in coordinating and supervision of on-site activities and off-site field trips as directed. The Summer Camp Counselor reports tasks accomplished to Summer Camp Director, Summer Camp Assistant Director and/or Recreation Coordinator in written or oral form. The Summer Camp Counselor shall perform other duties as required.
The skills and knowledge required for the position would be acquired while attending high school and/or college. A qualified applicant must have completed their first year in high school and be age 16 by June 23, 2025.
