The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator. The primary job duties of this position include:
- Assist with implementing facility programs and events.
- Preparing activities, curriculum, leading and monitoring assigned activities, adapting to participant's needs, classroom management and maintaining records.
- Customer service to include fielding questions and resolving conflicts with internal and external customers.
- Facilitate a range of activities, crafts and games for children ages 18 months to 7 years in a safe and friendly environment.

- Be able to work with minimal to no supervision, respond to emergency situations and be astute in conflict resolution skills
- Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Flexible availability to workdays and evenings (Approximately 10 – 15 hours weekly. Hours for these positions are Monday through Thursday from 8 am - 12 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday from 8 am – 12 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm)
- Possess and maintain certification for CPR and Standard First Aid within 30 days of hire
- Age requirement: Must be 18 years
