The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator. The primary job duties of this position include:
- Customer service to include fielding questions and resolving conflicts with internal and external customers. Answer inquiries by phone, in person and in writing. Process program registrations and address concerns.
- Maintain and inspect equipment (i.e. rock wall, fitness, gymnasium, etc.). Report facility and equipment maintenance needs. Assist patrons with facility equipment and amenities and insure equipment and supplies are in good working condition and used with proper form and technique.
- Cash handling to include collecting and refunding fees, processing daily, monthly and annual memberships and program registrations.
- Enforcement of policies and procedures and responding to emergency situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Level 1
- Some clerical and customer service experience preferred.
- Some cash handling experience preferred.
- Some implementation & leading activities experience preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Level 2
- 2 to 3 seasons clerical and customer service experience.
- 2 to 3 seasons cash handling experience.
- 2 to 3 seasons implementation & leading activities experience.
- Level 3
- 3 to 5 seasons clerical and customer service experience.
- 3 to 5 seasons cash handling experience.
- 3 to 5 seasons implementation & leading activities experience.
- CPR and Standard First Aid within 30 days of hire.
