Pay Range $24.74 to $31.24/hour

The Park Laborer will serve as a team member of the Parks & Recreation Department, performing a wide variety of duties necessary to maintain all Town parks, recreational facilities, and athletic fields centered around the operations of a very dynamic Nationally Accredited Parks & Recreation Agency.

Required experience: Working knowledge of specialized commercial power equipment and machinery; understanding of how to care for and maintain parks, athletic field turfgrass, trees, courts, and many outdoor and indoor recreational facilities. High school diploma/GED and two years relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

The pay range for this position is $24.74 to $31.24, based on experience. Benefit package includes health insurance with generous HRA and $600 well-being rewards; dental insurance; life insurance; VMERS pension plan; subsidized gym membership; vacation, sick, and personal days; 14 paid holidays; $600 uniform stipend.
