Job Description/Role and Responsibilities:
This position provides administrative support to the Finance Office, Board of Trustees, Public Works Department, and Planning & Zoning. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Enter meter readings, calculate bills, prepare and mail billing cards, process all utility payments and prepare utility deposits. Receive and process applications for new services and customer applications, process deposits, arrange for turn on/off services. Monitor garbage collection, prepare monthly monitoring reports, perform collection action for delinquent bills, maintain permanent customer account files, field complaints, and other duties as assigned. This person will be responsible for answering phones, incoming mail, and front desk customer assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCTION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED equivalent, and three years’ verifiable experience in the administrative field and customer service. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
