The Town of Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department is looking motivated individuals who like working outside as well as in a scenic location with the public.
The position of a Fort Getty Park Ranger requires applicants to be 18 years and older. The job is part time with hours varying Monday to Sunday from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. The season is May - September with pay rates starting at $17.50.
Fort Getty is an RV and tent campground maintaining a total of 75 RV sites and 26 tent sites. The campground is also home to the Lt. Col. John C. Rembijas Pavilion which hosts many small & large events throughout the summer.
Job responsibilities of a Fort Getty Park Ranger are:
