Code Enforcement Officer

Job Overview
The Code Enforcement Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to public health and safety. This position involves monitoring, investigating, and enforcing codes and regulations to maintain community standards. Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of properties and facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Investigate complaints related to code violations, including but not limited to health, safety, and zoning issues.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings from inspections and investigations.
• Manage compliance management processes to ensure adherence to OSHA standards.
• Provide guidance and education to property owners regarding code requirements and best practices for compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, and enforcement actions taken.
• Participate in regulatory reporting as required by local ordinances or state laws.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Rotating weekends
