The Town of Marana is seeking a Maintenance Associate III position to work in the Public Works Department with the Street Maintenance Division. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in a fast-paced environment. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or trainingOver five (5) years of street construction/maintenance experience or closely related fieldValid Arizona Driver License Valid Class B CDL w/Tanker Endorsement or must obtain within 6 months of employmentSubject to random testing per DOT (FMCSA) requirementsMust pass a pre-employment physical, a 50 pound lift test, and audiogramAbility to pass both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records checkAn equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSValid Arizona Class B CDL w/Tanker Endorsement plus over five (5) years of street construction/maintenance experienceExperience working in a Municipality/Government settingRECRUITMENT PROCESSIf you meet the minimum requirements, submit a completed Town of Marana application which can be supplemented with a resume and cover letter.
