Job Description:
This position is responsible for coordinating the youth services operation and activities, including developing and implementing programs, services, and collections that meet the needs of children and young adults. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop youth programming and events
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote library services and programs
- Supervise and train assigned staff members
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS)
- At least one year of experience working in a public library setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Town of Mashpee offers a competitive salary range of $27.98-$29.69 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
