The Town of Mashpee Department of Natural Resources seeks highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our team as Seasonal Assistant Harbormasters. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00.
Job Summary:
- Patrol waterways in Mashpee, enforcing all waterways and boating laws.
- Write and issue violations and citations as required.
- Participate in search and rescue operations on the waterways.
- Install, remove, maintain, and clean Aids to Navigation.
- Perform vessel pump-out duties.
- Operate departmental vehicles and vessels in accordance with all navigational and safety rules.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Experience working in a similar or like position.
- Professional boating experience required.
- Coast Guard, police or maritime experience preferred.
