We are seeking a skilled Shellfish Harvesting Technician to join our team at the Town of Mashpee Department of Natural Resources. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in the management and harvesting of shellfish in our area.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment used in shellfish harvesting
- Conduct regular inspections of shellfish beds and habitats
- Enforce regulations and laws related to shellfishing
To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong understanding of shellfish biology and ecology, as well as experience with boat operation and maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
This is a seasonal position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
