What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Town of Naples, Maine?
camp counselor is a full-time position, seasonal job, working with children ages 5-12 in our summer day camp program. Our camp operates Monday-Friday in Naples, Maine.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Camp Director
Qualifications:
-16 years or older
-have experience working with children
-an ability to be active and attentive with children ages 5-12
-an ability to take direction
-and a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
-Implement activities for children in a day camp setting, where safety and the responcibility for children are a priority
-Assist Directors in providing a safe environment for campers at camp, at the beach, and on field trips
-Clean and organize
-communicate with parents, staff, and Directors
CPR/First Aid is provided. Life Guard certification may be provided for some interested candidates.
