The Town of Natick is currently hiring a Seasonal Equipment Operator for Sassamon Trace Golf Course, a public 9-hole executive-length course located on Route 27 in Natick. The course, which draws approximately 28,500 rounds annually, is located on a mix of reclaimed landfill and former apple orchard land. It offers memberships, leagues, and instructional programs for golfers of all levels.
Position Overview
We’re looking for reliable and motivated individuals to assist with the daily maintenance of the course. This is a part-time, seasonal role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Mow fairways, roughs, and greens using riding and push mowers
- Operate light maintenance equipment under the direction of the Superintendent
- Clean equipment daily and promptly report any issues
- Work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Must be at least 18 years old (or 17 with a valid MA driver’s license)
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned
