Teaching children, 6 months-15 years, the fundamentals of learning to swim through the use of games, song and repetition.
Duties/Essential Job Functions
Previous experience working with children is preferred such as babysitting or previous swim instruction experience. Must be 15 years or older and be able to obtain a work permit.

- Developing creative ways to teach a skill
- Coordinating with co-workers to keep class moving, being fun and involving all participants in activity
- Demonstrating various skills to the participants
- Enforcing facility rules and teaching them to participants
- Care of equipment and supplies
- Must be able to swim proficiently
- Ability to demonstrate basic swimming skills
- Must be comfortable working with young children
- Must be able to work a minimum of two, two-week sessions
