What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMER - Youth Baseball/Softball Coach position at Town of Normal?
Pre-Ball Baseball Coach (ages 7-8) (Mon/Wed 5-6p and Saturday Mornings 1 hour) 3-5 hours weekly
Pre-Ball Baseball Coach (ages 7-8) (Tues/Thurs 6-7p and Saturday mornings 1 hour) 3-5 hours weekly
Pre-Ball Baseball Coach (ages 7-8) (Tues/Thurs 7-8p and Saturday mornings 1 hour) 3-5 hours weekly
Pre-Ball Softball Coach (ages 7-8) (Tues/Thurs 7-8pm and Saturday Mornings 1 hour) 3-5 hours weekly
-Follow lesson/practice plans given from program director, utilize drills and instructions
-Teaching youth the basics of baseball/softball
-Instructing a group of children (up to 12 players per team)
-Enforcing program rules
-Care of supplies and equipment
- Coaches are provided all materials and equipment essential for practices and games.-Must have knowledge of baseball and/or softball
-Must be able to demonstrate proper techniques to participants
-Must enjoy working with young children
-Must be outgoing and able to lead
Preferred age is 18 years and older. Exceptions can be made for applicants with prior coaching and/or playing experience.Salary : $15 - $16
