The Youth Baseball/Softball Coordinator position will oversee the youth Pre Ball baseball and softball program (Ages 6-9).
The Youth Pre Ball (Baseball/Softball) Program Coordinator position, is a supervisory role that conducts program activities, various checks and communications throughout each programs seasons. The position is "seasonal" and works in 7–9-week segments throughout the year.

May - Various for Interviews
June/July- Mon-Thurs - 4:45-8:15pm - 8 weeks = 112 hours
June/July - Saturdays - 8:00am-12pm - 7 weeks = 28 hours
Total - 140 Hours Yearly
The Youth Baseball/Softball Program Coordinator duties:
* Help oversee all aspects of youth baseball and softball programming
* Supervise staff, facilities, and participants during program hours
* Coordinates interviews and hiring of program staff members with Recreation Supervisor
* Coordinates the care of all equipment during program hours
* Orchestrate communication between Rec Supervisor, coaches, program Leads, and parents
* Pre-season roster creation
* Pre-season scheduling-Must have a knowledgeable background in baseball or softball
-Must be able to communicate with parents, coaches and participants
-Direct care and responsibility of program equipment
-Must enjoy working with young children
-Must be outgoing and able to lead, stay in constant communication with recreation supervisor
Previous Coaching or Sports Experience.
Previous Supervisory Experience preferred.
NAYS Program Director Training preferred (will be provided by employer if not already obtained)

Salary : $16 - $18
