THE POSITIONCome join the hardworking and fun staff at the Town of Prescott Valley! Ensure the safety of the citizens as they enjoy the pool and splash pad at Mountain Valley Splash.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position you will: Schedule guard staff and ensure adequate coverage at all times, including lifeguarding in emergency situations. Assist in the evaluating, planning, and implementing of lifeguard employee training; assist the division supervisor with measures to improve policies, procedures, methods, efficiency, and quality of work. Provide corrective action to aquatics staff, as necessary. Prepare monthly performance reports and provides feedback to assigned personnel. Actively monitor all guards to ensure proper scanning of the pool area at all times; exhibit all standards of American Red Cross Lifeguard. Collaborate with other leads and the Aquatics Coordinator to ensure the facility is operating proficiently. Conduct pool inspections and completes pool chemical logs and reports imbalances to supervisor. Take corrective action when it is within the positions scope. Be knowledgeable of and perform first aid.
