THE POSITIONCome join the hardworking and fun staff at the Town of Prescott Valley. Ensure the safety of citizens as they are enjoying the pool and splash pad at Mountain Valley Splash by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position you will: Be proficient in and knowledgeable of swimming practices in order to instruct all ages and abilities on how to swim. Assist with conducting scenario testing. Monitor the activities at Mountain Valley Splash to prevent accidents and possible drownings. Exhibit all standards of American Red Cross Lifeguard. Conduct pool inspections and completes pool chemical logs and reports imbalances to supervisor. Record daily participation numbers and ensures daily cling assignments are completed by guard staff. Report any safety concerns to management in a timely manner. Be knowledgeable of and perform first aid.
