Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Planning and Zoning Clerk at Town Of Sand Lake. The role involves assisting with zoning and planning related tasks, processing permit applications, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to the planning and zoning boards. The clerk will be responsible for attending three board meetings per month to transcribe minutes, prepare agendas, and post public hearing notices.
Qualifications
- Experience in zoning, planning, or related field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of local zoning regulations and procedures is a plus
- Associate's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field is a plus
