Position Overview
The Senior Civil Engineer – Development Review is an integral part of the Town of Timnath's Public Works department. This role requires advanced civil engineering expertise to manage and contribute to various engineering projects, ensuring compliance with town regulations and standards.
- This position involves reviewing engineering plans, traffic impact studies, drainage studies, technical reports, plats, and development plans for accuracy and alignment with established standards.
- The Senior Civil Engineer – Development Review will also be responsible for evaluating proposals, designing public works projects, and recommending governmental measures to control and guide community development and urban renewal.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and contributes to various engineering projects, including review of engineering plans, traffic impact studies, and drainage studies.
- Coordinates projects with developers, contractors, other municipalities, districts, and Town staff as needed.
- Ensures compliance with town regulations and standards by interpreting, applying, and enforcing the provisions of the Town's engineering design standards.
