GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs complex supervisory, administrative, and professional duties in the planning, organizing, directing, and managing all divisions of the Winchester Department of Public Works (DPW), including administration; municipal and school properties; cemetery; parks; trees; highway operations; water, sewer, and drainage; Water Treatment Plant and reservoir operations; solid waste and Transfer Station operations; capital projects; street lights; fleet maintenance; snow removal; and all other related work as required. Position requires thorough knowledge of departmental operations and the exercise of sound judgement and initiative in completing tasks, particularly in situations not clearly defined by precedent or established procedures.
