Company Description
Grand Strand Town Planner is a direct mail community calendar providing localized print and digital advertising. Reaching 50,000 homes every year, over 70% of recipients keep and interact with our publication daily, ensuring sponsor advertisements are seen. The company is located in the Greater Myrtle Beach Area.
Role Description
Must live and/or be able to drive within Horry County. This is a very flexible role that can be part-time or full-time with remote option. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for visiting and calling on both repeat clients and new prospects to get their advertising commitment for the next calendar edition. Also as time allows, interact and post for the Grand Strand Town Planner social media accounts. This can be a great role for someone newer to sales and marketing looking to grow, or an experienced retiree.
25-40 hours a week, flexible between 9:00am-6:00pm, with one weekly meeting with the Publisher for training and support.
Qualifications
• School experience in Business, Sales or Marketing preferred
• Interest in networking in the community
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of social media best practices is a plus
• Experience in sales support or customer service is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
Compensation
$40,000 - $60,000 based on commission and bonuses. A $500 sign on bonus will be offered for a minimum 6 month commitment as well.
