Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (42.5 hours per week; 2.5 hours at time-and-a-half)
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative with some construction background to manage small projects from initial sales calls through pricing, order processing, delivery coordination, and invoicing. This role requires strong customer service orientation, sales acumen, and the ability to read architectural plans and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and committed to continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inside sales processes including client communication, quoting, order processing, and follow-ups.
- Review and interpret architectural specifications and blueprints for accurate project take-offs and proposals.
- Develop and submit formal project proposals
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and delivery documents using company software
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager for material procurement, shop work scheduling, and deliveries.
- Handle walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and bid reviews with clients.
- Develop client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of inside sales or customer service experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with sales software, order entry, and processing documents.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with basic construction processes and terminology.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in computer-based programs and willingness to learn industry-specific software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience)
- Paid Time Off:
- 5 days vacation in 2025
- 10 days vacation in 2026
- 4 days of paid sick leave annually
