What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Director position at Towne Centre Assisted Living?
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse or an Registered Nurse who is expirenced in Memory Care, Specializes in Dementia, and being a Wellness Director to join our team and provide quality care to geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and experienced professional who is able to provide comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, Making sure that all staff members in their unit are in place and working when on the clock and not on lunch. Making sure to provide emotional support to all residents and families. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Educate patients and families about health care maintenance.
- Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with geriatric care needs.
- Making sure that all staff are engaging with residents.
- Making sure staff members in unit are in compliance with our facility policies.
