Responsibilities
- Prepare food items for service at breakfast according to occupancy
- Maintain a constant and complete stock of food and beverage items during breakfast hours
- Set up service area each day in accordance to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area during and after breakfast hours
- Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest
- Maintain temperature log book (updated daily)
- Clean and maintain refrigerator and all other equipment daily
- Assist management in daily, weekly and monthly food and supplies inventory
- Clean and maintain dry and cold storage daily
- Responsible for maintaining all food and beverage dates with date received in all dry and cold storage areas
- Prepare and stock everything needed for following day
- Operate all kitchen and breakfast room equipment correctly and safely
- Know hotel emergency procedures
- Wear protective gear when handling food and chemicals
- Carry out any reasonable request by management if capable of performing

Requirements
- Preferred: at least 1 year experience in a Food & Beverage establishment
- Preferred: at least 1 year of Customer Service experience
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English
- Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
LICENSES:
Kansas City Food Handler License - must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
