As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our healthcare system by verifying the credentials of our providers and ensuring that they meet all necessary requirements for practicing medicine. You will work closely with our providers, staff, and outside agencies to ensure that all credentialing processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Reviewing and verifying the credentials of healthcare providers
- Ensuring that all providers meet state and federal regulations
- Handling all aspects of credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes
- Communicating with providers to gather necessary documentation and information
- Collaborating with internal departments and external agencies to complete credentialing processes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date provider files
We are looking for candidates who have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and credentialing processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in credentialing in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
