Manufacturing Supervisor’s plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient production, team development, and overall job satisfaction. This position is a working Supervisor who will be working side by side with their crew.
Essential Functions
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; resolving problems, etc.
• Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and drive personal accountability
• Troubleshoot systems and assists Manufacturing Technicians in their duties when needed
• Create an environment of continuous improvement by ensuring proper training
• Communicate with HR and Maintain adequate staffing for the work load
• Maintain the proper tools and equipment necessary to ensure workload can be done
• Establishes or adjusts standard operating procedures (SOP's) to meet production schedules
• Ensure efficient completion of work
• Create and maintain the safest working environment possible
• Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
• Keeping equipment maintenance logs
• Collaborating with other supervisors and departments to complete production orders on time
• Complying with internal policies and industry regulations
• Ensure work area is clean and safe

Required Experience:
- 3 to 5 years Plastics or related experience
- 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficiency in working with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems
- Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies
Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
