Founded in 1963, Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing, American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining, dredging, and power industries. We have an opening for an Office Assistant in our West Viriginia office. This position is responsible for performing various routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Essential Job Functions:

- Processing P.O.s and creating quotes
- Coordinating shipments and paperwork
- AP/AR processing
- Investigate open orders
- Responds to customer inquiries
- Provide support to salesmen (research past quotes & orders)
- Follow-up on orders being manufactured in other plants
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Excellent time-management skills
- Works well with others and can multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with AP/AR a plus
