What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Housekeeper position at Townplace Suites by Marriot?
The position of Executive housekeeper requires him/her to lead and execute the team to clean and organize rooms in a quick and effective manner while adhering to the brand standards set into place.
Key job duties:
Making a schedule for the housekeepers
Inspecting rooms
Ordering room and cleaning supplies
Maintaining the laundry room and back-office areas
Training housekeepers in cleaning and brand standards
Replacing room amenities and linens
Removing trash
Dusting and polish furniture
Vacuuming carpets
Cleaning windows
Cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning common areas of the hotel
Laundry
Executive Housekeepers must follow company polices and report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and lost items. jobs involving some physical labor, housekeepers need to possess the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Additionally, housekeepers often need to move, carry, push, and lift up to 25 pounds.
In some instances, you may need to address guest service needs. Always smile and greet each guest they come into contact with.
