- Oversee Scheduling & Curriculum Development, working closely with the principal and leadership team to enhance academic programs and course offerings.
- Support & Evaluate Staff Performance, making recommendations on hiring, tenure, and professional development.
- Serve as a Family & Community Liaison, fostering open communication with families using district-wide platforms and ensuring transparent and supportive engagement.
- Enhance School Safety & Crisis Response, working with administrators to develop and implement safety protocols.
- Monitor & Maintain Student Records in compliance with district, state, and federal policies.
- Promote Student Well-Being & Belonging, ensuring all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
- Step Into a Leadership Role—assume principal duties in their absence and support leadership across all operational and instructional areas.
We seek a leader who is student-focused, collaborative, and committed to educational excellence. The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a State of Illinois Professional Educator License with a General Administrator Endorsement or Principal Endorsement.
- Have leadership experience as an Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, or Director (preferred).
- Possess Special Education certification (preferred).
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of student services, equity, and instructional leadership.
- Be a proactive communicator who builds strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous school improvement.
As Associate Principal – Student Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the student experience at Prospect High School. Your leadership will ensure that every student is supported, challenged, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Salary And Benefits
- Salary Range: Administrative Salary - $148,168-$185,210 (to be adjusted for 2025-2026)
- Full year year assignment
- High Salary Potential with annual increases
