About the Job:

As the Corporate Major Accounts Manager you will be a part of the TICF CFO Organization and will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the organization. The role entails the following responsibilities:

General

  • Ensure balance sheet strength by developing strategic initiatives to collect and apply Major Account customer remittances efficiently and in a streamlined manner
  • Lead, plan and execute Major Accounts Receivable strategy for new product offerings, including invoicing, customer account reconciliations, and cash application
  • Oversee Major Accounts Receivable strategy including dashboard creation and reporting in accordance with regional management strategies
  • Enable Major Accounts Receivable data analytics capabilities, including reporting and monitoring of important key accounting metrics
  • Lead local and regional Major Accounts Receivable including developing KPI's to ensure effectiveness and standard practices
  • Establish sound Major Accounts Receivable policies and procedures to ensure billing and collections activities are in-compliance with accounting and audit guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments (e.g., Risk, Treasury, Customer Account Services, Collections, Remarketing, Sales, etc.) to ensure Major Accounts customer accounts are accurate
Business Transformation
  • Coordinate with teams across the Company to develop and implement workflow processes to streamline internal operations while continuously improving the customer experience
  • Develop strategies to meet scorecard objectives
  • Identify, develop and implement improved processes for monthly account reconciliation, including invoicing and cash application
  • Cultivate a change-ready environment supportive of new ideas and Kaizen initiatives
  • Develop, standardize, and document Major Accounts Receivable policies, processes, and desk guides always ensuring new associates are well trained
  • Research and understand industry trends that impact and influence receivables and develop strategies to better meet customer needs and grow the business
  • Provide Major Accounts Receivable leadership and support for the development and launch of new processes, products, programs and other special projects

What You'll Do:

40% Major Accounts Receivable Management and Execution

  • Inform TICF senior leadership of current state environment issues, root cases, and countermeasures impacting Major Accounts Receivable invoicing and cash management
  • Establish and modify TICF's Major Accounts Receivable strategy including collaborating with Accounting and AR teams to set up end-to-end cash management process for Internal Control compliance, identifying appropriate initiatives and teams to achieve best in class status
  • Lead TICF's Major Accounts Receivable customer onboarding strategies implementing high integrity one stop customer financial data
  • Manage financial performance of Major Accounts Receivable, monitoring activities for existing and future transactions
  • Lead cross-functional project team to research and develop proper tracking for new products from a customer receivable financial perspective
  • Develop and execute strategy to renew long-term Major Accounts, National Accounts, and Fleet program renewals from a customer receivable perspective
  • Proactively keep TICF senior leadership abreast of impacts to diversified and complex portfolios and recommend changes to strategy for TICF's and shareholder benefit
  • Maintain delinquency at or below the scorecard objectives for Major AccountsReceivable
  • Ensure timely and correct resolution of debit and credit balances on Major Accounts customer records
  • Analyze reconciliation results for Major Accounts customer records to identify and resolve financial and operational issues quickly
  • Lead customer-facing and stakeholder conference calls and customer visits to facilitate communication and develop strategies and solutions for management of complex accounts typically involving high unit volume and multiple locations
  • Lead a team of multiple leaders and associates to successfully achieve Major Accounts customer service, accuracy, and timing objectives:
    • Monitor and maintain customer accounts managed by the group, including invoicing, payment posting and follow-up of delinquencies and overpayments
    • Reconcile and analyze accounts to identify issues, fully understanding root causes, with quick resolution of billing and payment discrepancies
    • Reconcile customer account balances ensuring they tie to the financial system of record and with customer expectations
    • Achieve resolution of aged debit and credit balances in the customer accounts within policy guidelines
    • Consult with customers to identify and implement streamlined billing changes to better align with system capabilities, ensuring customer AP departments understand the most efficient way to pay timely
    • Manage the resolution of escalated matters by developing solutions consistent with TICF's initiatives and objectives
  • Interact with third party vendors to achieve business objectives (as needed)

30% Balance Sheet Management

  • Develop strategic initiatives to ensure balance sheet strength including managing and monitoring aging of Major Accounts customer receivables, cash application, cancelled billing, and credits on customer accounts
  • Lead team to report strategic initiatives and their effectiveness to local, regional, and affiliate teams
  • Lead team to recommend and track leading accounting KPI's that support strong cash flow management
  • Coordinate relationship and communication with other TICF departments, the shareholder, with the regions, and with affiliates regarding reporting of the group's KPI's and cash flow trends

30% Major Accounts Receivable Strategies and Reporting

  • Develop analytic capabilities that enable better adherence to TICF Policies as well as internal and external audit guidelines
  • Lead local, affiliate, and regional strategic and reporting activities that impact Major Accounts Receivable
  • Develop enhanced reporting capabilities to measure performance at all levels – associate, customer portfolio and team results
  • Lead local team to create and report effective metrics, including establishing common reporting for affiliates and our sales finance affiliates in the region (Canada & Mexico)
  • Establish sound Major Accounts Receivable policies and procedures to ensure billing and cash application are compliant with internal and external audit requirements

Qualifications You'll Need:

Technical Requirements:

  • Expertise in financial services operations, financial systems (e.g., SAP, WI, BillTrust and S4hana), data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Visio and Oracle EPM)
  • Expertise in interpreting financial system transaction flows
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to extract and analyze large volumes of transactional financial data

Experience/Educational Requirements/License or Certifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable leadership managing teams comprised of exempt and non-exempt associates
  • In-depth balance sheet understanding and management experience
  • Broad knowledge of financial service product offerings preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • MBA a plus
  • CPA a plus
