Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America is establishing a new plant in Georgia (TIESNA-GA), in 2024. TIESNA-GA is a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO).

TICO is a leading global manufacturer of automobile parts and assemblies, material handling equipment, and provider of logistics solutions. TIESNA is focused on the sale of world-class quality electronics products for automobiles manufactured by TICO for sale to North American based OEM automobile manufacturers.

TIESNA-GA will focus on the assembly of DC-AC Inverters and future DC-DC Converters for electric and hybrid vehicles in the USA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Assistant Team Lead to support the Maintenance Department and Associates in the servicing and maintenance of electrical and mechanical production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.

***THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT (B-SHIFT) POSITION***

• Support activities with maintenance associates engaged in facilities, electrical, and mechanical operations including maintenance of SMT, PCB and assembly equipment to provide uninterrupted service.

• Follow the preventive maintenance program and prioritize tasks according to the assigned work schedule to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.

• Identify root cause of machine breakdown using 5 Why analysis.

• Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building.

• Track inventory levels of maintenance materials, supplies and repair parts. Report inventory status to Supervisor in a timely manner to ensure replenishment of parts.

• Cultivate an atmosphere that fosters development of Maintenance Associates.

• Practice and encourage two-way communication in the department between all levels of associates.

• Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of workplace rules and regulations.

• Manage the 5S program as it applies to the Maintenance department.

• Maintain high employee morale, minimizing staff turnover.

• Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA. Complies with all company policies and procedures.

• Assume responsibility for the environmental impact of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.

• Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.

• Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience

• Two year technical degree preferred with 5 years working experience in a Maintenance function required.

• High level of knowledge electrical, and mechanical operations including maintenance of SMT, PCB and assembly equipment.

• Experience an electrical meter

• Experience utilizing machine manual/technical manuals to troubleshoot machinery

• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to plant operation and maintenance with a good understanding of general safety, health, and environmental programs.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team oriented environment.

• Good computer skills (MS Office, CMMS).
