Paralegal #9794 Columbus, Indiana, United States Requisition Number 9794 Location(s) 3030 Barker Drive, Columbus, Indiana 47201, United States Full-time/Part-time Full-time External Description Position Name: Legal Administrative Professional/Paralegal Position Summary A key supporting role on the legal team reporting to a senior attorney, the successful candidate will provide critical support for the legal team including assistance as needed with litigation, corporate governance, risk and insurance as well as mergers and acquisitions when needed. Essential Position Duties Legal Support: Provide legal, office and administrative support to attorneys and staff on key strategic projects including, but not limited to, acquisitions, litigation, corporate records, enterprise risk management, and contracts. Document Management: Organizing and maintaining legal documents, files, and records, as well as organizing data within folders and systems. Schedule Management: Adjusting meeting schedules, managing calendars, and arranging business travel. Event Coordination: Assisting in planning and organizing team events and training sessions. Administrative Support: Invoicing, reviewing, processing and administrative work as needed. Special projects and support as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Specific Knowledge and Skills Excellent and succinct verbal and written communication skills. High levels of attention to detail and confidentiality is required. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team member. Must be able to multi-task. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Additional duties as assigned Education & Experience • Minimum 3 years of legal experience. • Preferred paralegal certification or degree in law-related field Physical Requirements / Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
