Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
The Production Engineering Innovation Division is responsible for identifying and developing emerging technology for application both in global Toyota and in our local manufacturing centers in Europe. Our team is focused on new production processes, measuring technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital transformation in manufacturing.
Your project
We explore the usage of automated data gathering, data creation and generative AI. You will participate in the identification and testing of these tools to improve and support business process related to innovation and manufacturing.
- Investigation and benchmarking of tools for testing
- Creation of test data sets
- Implementation of tests
- Summary of results and impact to business
Your Profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Currently studying university degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science, or computer graphics
- Programming skills in Python (Intermediate)
- Experience with CAD and rendering tools
- Openness, flexibility and ability to learn quickly
- You have good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
