Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
TME Purchasing plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products. Engineers & Buyers develop and manage all aspects of the relationship between Toyota and its suppliers, located all over Europe. As a part of the overall European Purchasing team of approximately 200 people, the Chassis Division and responsible for the purchase of chassis parts (e.g. brake, EPS, wheel & tyre, …etc.) interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
Your project
After a period of integration to learn our philosophy and internal way of working, we will request your contribution by assisting Energy Reduction Activity at our supplier base.
You will be expected:

- to assist supplier selection criteria
- to create and monitor KPI about activities and saving
- to support developing energy reduction activity schedule and tasks and responsibility
- to support regular status reporting to Top Management.
- To arrange practical details (ie. Setup meetings, issue reminders, ..)
Your Profile
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Student for bachelor’s or master’s degree in purchasing, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, Information systems, business management with focus on automotive industry.
- Understanding of automotive parts manufacturing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and PowerApps
- Ability to work with Outlook, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams).
- Highly developed analytical skills, accuracy and reliability.
- Can work independently in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (= working language)

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
